As a Business Analyst, you'll spearhead engagement management processes, drive revenue and efficiency gains, and ensure seamless software delivery. As the primary support liaison between the client and the engineering team, you'll champion client satisfaction while overseeing rigorous software testing and deployment.

Professional Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
Executing Engagement Management Processes
  • Identify and implement opportunities which increase client and company revenue, efficiency, EBITDA, and valuation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for user support, addressing questions and support requests efficiently.
  • Oversee the testing of development tickets completed by the software team. Develop and execute detailed testing plans and define task and deliverable acceptance criteria to ensure software functionality meets user requirements. Maintain automated regression testing scripts to enhance software quality.
  • Collaborate with end users to understand their needs and challenges. Analyze feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate the planning, testing, and deployment of software releases. Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient release processes.
  • Manage project schedules, monitor progress, and make adjustments as necessary to meet milestones and deliverables on time.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration between clients and the software development team. Prepare material for client meetings and presentations to facilitate decision-making and project progress.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to user support, software testing, and release management.
  • Develop business intelligence reports, analyses, and dashboards to monitor and communicate project performance and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of new features and updates.
  • Perform administrative tasks necessary for the successful execution of projects, including scheduling meetings, synthesizing meeting notes, creating action plans, and following up on action plans to ensure timely completion of objectives.
Refining Engagement Management and Other Processes
  • Work with Managing Director to refine the Engagement Management Process.
  • Contribute to one of the United States' fastest-growing companies in its improvement and refinement of other processes to increase revenue, efficiency, EBITDA, and valuation.
Perform other tasks and complete other special projects, as assigned by the Managing Director and CEO, in the interest of:
  • Increasing company revenue.
  • Decreasing company expenses.
  • Improving overall company results.
  • Growing yourself and your career.
Earn a promotion to Engagement Manager (or another mutually determined and agreed upon role).
  • Deliver results and demonstrate competency, work ethic, and professionalism requisite to earn a promotion to an Engagement Manager.

Evaluation Criteria

Your success as Business Analyst will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
  • Minimized administrative execution work done by the Engagement Management team, as measured by time tracking reports.
  • Client results, as measured by business value, timeliness, quality, and achievement of targets, goals, and objectives.
  • Client satisfaction, as measured by results from survey of client stakeholders.
  • Quality of delivery, as measured by number of bugs and support requests.
  • Demonstrated and acquired business and technology acumen, as measured by results from client and peer surveys.
  • Demonstrated and acquired professionalism and business experience, as measured by results from client and peer surveys.
  • Demonstrated and acquired software quality and testing competency, as measured by results from client and peer surveys.
  • Collaborative abilities, as measured by results from client and peer surveys.
  • Earning trust and experience necessary to successfully hire, ramp up, mentor, and manage a replacing Business Analyst

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proficient in analytics and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with automated regression testing scripts.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
  • Strong personal and professional track record.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong desire to grow in knowledge, business and technology acumen, and personal ability.
  • Ability to manage complex projects, relationships, and drive business and revenue growth.
