Overview

As a UX Designer you will play a pivotal role in shaping user experiences that drive business success. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll develop and implement UX designs that align with business objectives and delight users. Your responsibilities will include conducting user research, usability testing, and crafting wireframes and prototypes to bring design concepts to life. With a focus on iteration and refinement, you'll ensure that designs evolve based on user and stakeholder feedback.

Professional Responsibilities

As a User Experience Designer, your responsibilities will include:
UX Design
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement UX designs that align with business objectives and satisfy user needs.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and other UX research activities to gather insights that inform design decisions.
  • Design wireframes, prototypes, and visuals to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions to team members and stakeholders.
  • Iterate on designs based on user and stakeholder feedback.
  • Maintain and refine the design system to ensure consistency across products and improve the efficiency of design and development processes.
  • Ensure the design system is continuously improved based on feedback and evolving business needs.
  • Create documentation for design guidelines and standards.
  • Provide UX training to team members as needed.
  • Engage in various other design work as needed.
Perform other tasks and complete other special projects, as assigned by the Managing Director and CEO, in the interest of:
  • Improving overall company results.
  • Growing yourself and your career.

Evaluation Criteria

Your success as a User Experience Designer will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
  • Ability to effectively present designs and design strategies and their impact on business objectives and user satisfaction, as measured by results from survey of peers.
  • Quality of delivery, as measured by number of project feedback rounds.
  • Timeliness of delivery, as measured by project deadlines.
  • Demonstrated and acquired UX acumen, as measured by results from survey of peers.

Qualifications

In order to be considered for this position you must be or possess (a/an):
  • Showcase of previous UX/UI design work
  • Bachelor's degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or related field
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in UX/UI design or related field
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record in user research and usability testing
  • Proficiency in wireframing, prototyping, and visual design tools such as Figma
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and iterate quickly
